Issue 58 March- May 2015

This was a memorable issue for happy and sad reasons. It was to be the last one that co founder Anna Marshall was to be part of after 9 years of hard labour producing the magazine. It however proved to be one of our most successfully financial issues with a diverse array of musical genre artists. We spoke with Reggae royalty Marcia Griffiths, Latin American percussion fire power Sheila E, jazz fusion keyboardist Jeff Lorber, The Summer Soulstice team, jazz pioneering label owners and musicians Stanley Cowell and Charles Tolliver and local Canvey Island Dj Frostie. It was important for me to review the Martin Luther King flick Selma so we gave that a whole page.
